For me this is 50% brilliant and 50% just okay. I could definitely see bumping it up to a 4 at some point though, the good stuff really is fantastic.

I see where you're coming from.

I mean the album is 70 minutes long and consists of 15 songs, there is some fat to be trimmed.

I just personally think the good parts of this record are too fucking good to let it drag my opinion down.
