Very good album, very good review. It's fun to play a lot of these songs on the guitar, however simple they are.
I haven't listened to Ulver yet, I do like Garm's work on Borknager's The Olden Domain however. I have listened to Arcturus but haven't fully warmed up to it.
This would be an odd place to start considering it's sort of an anomaly in their discography. Arcturus is kind of tough to get into, but Borknagar rocks. This is definitely his best band.
