I have heard multiple people argue that Jay-Z is one of the goats because he's not that good but became super rich anyway

talent is such a vague term, like what does it mean? his ability to rhyme lots of words fast? which I mean he used to do in his pre-Reasonable Doubt days, but I'd say his ability to constantly reinvent himself to stay relevant for 20+ years is in itself a talent

This is not for commercial usage

Please don't categorize this as music

Please don't compare me to other rappers

Compare me to trappers, I'm more Frank Lucas than Ludacris

And Luda's my dude, I ain't tryna diss

Like Frank Lucas is cool, but I ain't tryna snitch

I'ma follow the rules no matter how much time I'ma get

I'ma live and die with the decisions that I'ma pick

So fuck the haven for caving, that's why we don't speak

Made men ain't supposed to make statements

Probably my favorite Jay Z verse, he's so smooth at drawing parallels between his life as an underworld criminal and multiplatinum rapper

Dead Presidents 2 is an all timer

Bunch of children talking about jay not being one of the goats just because they have bad taste lol. Jay is consistently regarded as one of the goats in hip hop right up their with biggie pac em and nas for good reason. 90 percent of your favorite rappers would and have named jay as one of their all time favorites. The man is a worldwide hip hop icon and in the rock and roll hall of fame. Then you come on here and see a bunch of kids that listen to young joc talk about jay being bad LMAO that's golden
