Black metal style production really does not suit grindcore

bad production =/= black metal production
|
| |
Lo-fi production =/= bad production
|
| |
It is bad production, it was rushed by people who didn't even know what they were doing and the band did not even want it to sound like this at all, the drums for example are next to inaudible in some tracks
That said it gives the music an air of mystery and uniqueness, so it doesn't mean it sounds bad but if this isn't badly produced then bad production doesn't exist

What Gwyn said

This album is trash

it's not the intended production, but I doubt this album would be as infamous as it is if it weren't for how trashy it sounds
also.... bite your tongue bloc

This thing intimidates the hell out of me. Never been much for grind but I love Heartwork and SS so much that I'm interested in trying this out.

This is just filth, in the best possible way.

If you're not a fan of grind then go listen to Symphonies of Sickness first which is grind-y but shows them starting to shift to what they would sound like later, this album is going to be virtually impenetrable if you go just go in without some adjusting first
|
| |
This is a mess, but the messiness actually works as an asset to the general sound
