do they

Okay, okay. I previewed some other tracks on iTunes in an attempt to be less of a biased piece of shit. I will admit that I pigeonholed them from that one song, but still, not at all my cup of tea. But hey, if you like it, that's really what counts. After all, music is subjective.

perhaps this type of indie folk or w/e isn't your thing
|
| |
Haha, no way. I can tell from that one song that these guys will do nothing for me, except make me want to Van Gogh my ears. Just far too cheesy. Sounds like Kidz Bop or some shit.
Yeah, 'Kickdrum Heart' is hardly representative of this album.

Hey zbratton you seem like a cool guy but you shouldn't use 'gay' as perjorative man. It's 2012 the word you're lookin' for is 'sincere'.
The Avett Brothers are very sincere and cheesy. It's nice and different from a lotta alt. country-ish groups which often have the Steve Earle/Robert Earl Keen sarcastic/caustic thing goin' on but still sometimes the extreme sincerity and sentimentality can be a little much.
Eh yeah you're probably right; gay works better.
