There's so much more to American Idiot than the shift in their demographic. This is possibly the most commercially successful concept record of this decade. I'd also place it as one of the records that defined 2004 - musically, politically, whatever.

Well, you did hopefully just read a review to tell you if this was good or not, or, I guess you could

listen to it, but who would do that when someone can say it's good or not.

I love how the rating scale is almost literally flat, as if the amount of people hate it equals the amount of people who love it. You have to understand the power behind these songs or else all you will see is bland pop-punk, which I find sad.
