Yeah, their biggest problem was when they got something right they would somehow go on to ruin it with some ridiculous breakdown or something. I like the drum fill at the end of one of 'I used to have a friend..' before it goes into a breakdown, i think some of the drumming is kind of impressive at points,

Thank you! Ha! That's all I'm asking for. I don't think this album rates a (1) or even below (2). Give it some credit at least [where it's deserved]. But I do admit the lyrics are uncreative. It's like hearing a disgruntled, high-school boy read a note about his ex-girlfriend breaking up with him.

No it is somewhere between 1.5-2 for me. If you read my review i give the drummer credit, I just find all but the production either run of the mill or sub par.

I never stated you didn't give the drummer credit. I was mainly referring that to the clueless commentators. But everyone will have their own outlook on bands in different genres of music, so comments will always stay in the gray-area. But yes, production can do wonders for many bands; especially being in the hands of Joey Strugis. The man is a genius behind the controls!
