I don't think this is better than Jane Doe, though. You take any Converge record from Jane Doe to Axe to Fall and they're all individually brilliant and would receive gargantuan amounts of praise in the window that Jane Doe had. Like, Converge are a once in a lifetime band. Most of their albums are excellent, regardless of context, and each has its own sonic character.
