Well, if you're gonna put someone down, may as well be affectionate about it. Haha.

Papillon is best. I prefer my songs had more than 37 words & didn't go on 2 minutes too long.

So I've decided "Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool" is the best cut on this album. Review is mostly written but sounds too positive for a 1.5 so I will have to edit accordingly. Expect it tonight (British tonight that is).

I'm actually starting to think that while most people disagree on highlight tracks, it doesn't really matter because the conclusion is the same.

I just saw another review which stated the opener is "far & away the best song on the album" & now Ross thinks 'Eat Raw Meat...' is the best. Personally, I think it's the lowlight! Yet, our conclusion is the same.

Yeah I kind of agree, I think as the majority of the album is the same people will lean towards their own musical preference when picking best song (e.g. Papillon is the most poppy song, Eat Raw Meat is the most experimental etc.).

Exactly. It's a deal. If you keep it a secret, I'll throw the certain meeting we have come the weekend! :-)

Lol thanks for the offer, I'd prefer to beat you fair and square though, I'll still keep the secret though - for future blackmails.

Ohhhhh, how sportsmanlike of you.

What I meant to say was: "F**k, that's a fair striking trio you have there". Not sure if I can topple them alone. Haha.

Yeah, just gotta hope they all get a few goals between them. I'm just wary of them all dropping off form at the same time. Fingers crossed they won't.

Benty will be right... The beach ball will follow him around.

Drogba will be right... As long as Ballack is getting a game, he'll want to prove he's better.

As for Van Persie, that's another matter. He's likely to have a sook at any time. All someone has to do is muck his hair up.

Maaaan, I read your review and thought 'it can't be that bad', oh how I now realize my ignorance, if I didn't know it was their new album I wouldve just thought it was a b-sides album

And tbh, I don't blame anyone for thinking "it can't be that bad". If someone else had wrote this, I would be thinking exactly the same.

Papillon is indeed pretty great. I just hope they leave the synths behind for the next album.

They can bring the synths back to some extent Nagrarok, they just have to learn to use them better.

Oh yes, I wouldn't mind at all, but they're too heavy here, and like you said, not used properly. I can like synths, but not when they're on the heavy side.

Also, I didn't know this was released in the US so long after the European release. That's why it's re-featured I s'pose.

I guess I can see what they were trying to do; add atmosphere... To some extent, they did... But in doing so, eradicated almost all of their prior strengths.

And yes, the U.S release date was pushed back I think. Probably due to poor initial reviews.
