I'm actually just listening to wax bottles now - not anything that should be compared to PBC but a decent little emo/indie project in its own right I feel. Definitely worth a listen, especially the track Good Makes Good.

Yeah it’s cool just not what I’m lookin for

Man it is just hard/weird to even listen to this band now. I spun them so much before and I really just feel so fucking bad about jimmy losing his voice. They were a solid af band with a good rep and in an instant they are just done and fucked

Yeah it doesn't scratch the same itch really does it
It reeally sucks that he lost his voice, and you can't really have PBC without that grit he brought to the table. I discovered them the year that Death Chorus came out and it couldn't have been worse timing :/
Honestly Sometimes Things Just Disappear is still one of the most magical punk albums I've heard period

I’ve had a few bands like that. I got into The Color Morale like 6 months before they put out Know Hope or whatever and dude’s vocals completely changed imo, sucks when that happens.

I heard them do a live version of Living Saints. Man, his vocals were all over the place.
