hellfest totally isn't the same (lineup wise) as it was before. It's probably different organizers using that name for the fest.

Uneath aren't melodic death, they're proper hardcore/thrash and to an extent metalcore.
This was my first album by the band and as soon as I heard it I had to get more of them.
Subsequently this album contains some of the the first songs that influeneced me to buy and learn on a 7 string.
Aries is probably my favourite track.
Don't know why, it just strikes a chord with me.

endless, has (imo) the heaviest breakdown of the cd, awesome cd though, and good review

I wish I'd of made this review a bit better. It's really lame in comparison to what I've been writing lately.
A lot of the breakdowns on here are examples of what an awesome breakdown is. It's just a shame a lot of bands don't take note.

Confessed2005,
You should fix this review up if you feel its not up to par. I was thinking of doing that with my two reviews.
Album is still good, just not as good as the first week I had it. Metalcore is a dying genre in my music tastes. It still exposed me to alot of good stuff though.

Same here, and it's still incredibly awesome to put in from time to time. This Lying World's final breakdown still can't be topped.

I find this to be almost as good as In the Eyes of Fire.

I'm really not enjoying this stuff on the same level as I did about 2 years ago. These types of bands just feel immature to me. I guess this is where I say 'I'm turning into an elitist' hahahahahaha. Still, I have to admit that Unearth, Architects, Bleeding Through etc. are fun second-wave metalcore bands to listen to once in a while.

unearth is freakin awesome

Album rules face, my favorite Unearth album and the only one i'll jam to on a daily basis. Nothing exclaims "kick in somebodys head" like the power groove in Endless. 2:28- 2:47.

In the Eyes of Fire is better than this imo, but this still rules hard, and is a little better than their newest.

the problem i have with a lot of this stuff is it sounds ALMOST really good.
it difficult for me to listen to anything much beyond the absolute-top bands in the genre.
apparently unearth is amazing though. so ill be checking some of their stuff out. i just dont think i'll enjoy it as much as BTBAM.
same story for black dahlia murder....

the absolute-top bands in the genre.
I'd probably say Unearth is one. This would be a good place to start, cause it's every so slightly more fun to listen to than In The Eyes of Fire.
edit: guy above me certainly has a point.
