Listened to this all the way through for the first time in a while, and I got a lot more out of it than before. Small Metal Gods, Emily Dickinson, Snow White, and t/t are so good.

I'm glad you got more out of it, hopefully this recent batch of praise will get other people to look at it more fondly :]

It's heading in that direction. Apparently the average used to be 3.4 and been slowly rising over time, just today or yesterday it went from 3.6 to 3.7. More need to hear it and his others tho.

This is a really engrossing and rewarding listen when in the right mood.

AnimalsAsSummit described it well: sylvian proves yet again that he can easily create dream landscapes with sound. this release sounds like a victorian attic come to life. i can hear the floor boards bellowing, the walls are twiddling their fingers..... pure ecstasy

Listening to this again, and it continues growing even more. One of the most creative and original musicians I've heard.

Not unless he flat out reveals so, but not likely really. Gotta expand the fanbase though.

Anyone here watched Amplified Gesture? (came with the Manafon boxset). Really interesting to go inside the mindset of the people who helped made this, I wish it was longer and had even more detail/insight to questions and points their raise. Then again, its serves as an introduction to their mindset, made to spark interest and it succeeded in doing that. Along with that, this album sounds incredible on the DVD. Holy shit.
