YES! It rules so hard. Gave this a spin today for the first time in a long time, shit was magical.
That opening bassline gets me so pumped for this album. Kanye West's production is so on point, I forgot how beautiful the instrumental for Faithful is and Common just sounds great on this. i feel like I'm getting a taste of Chicago when i jam this.
I need to jam more Common besides this and Resurrection

IMO this album and resurrection are the only extremely solid albums by common theres a few highlight songs on previous albums but as a whole not really worth your while.

I'm probably gonna check "Like Water for Chocolate" out next I know nothing about it. I have heard a few things from "Finding Forever" that sounded cool.
Also There is some standout songs on his new album.

Yeh, I like 'Like Water for Chocolate' a lot. It has got a great selection of musicians on it, including J Dilla, D'Angelo, ?uestlove and Roy Hargrove.

Def gonna check that, i love J Dilla too. There is a song on Common's new album called 'Rewind That' where he talks about J Dilla, its a highlight imo.
