I'm certain it will get the remix treatment soon enough. And I do agree that starting with the chorus is not a good move in that case. It's not a great move in most cases actually.

I finally checked to see what album rec's you listed for this. I've heard Chapterhouse's Whirlpool album but don't like it nearly as much as Blood Music. Have you heard that one?

I'm sort of surprised 'Velvet' wasn't more of a succes, but then again, it just goes to prove that catchy poppy stuff gets the attention more... Even if half the population hate it.
Nope Trey, I have not heard 'Blood Music'. In truth, I've only heard a few songs from 'Whirlpool'. Your description of more "upbeat" actually does interest me.

last.fm just keeps track of your music plays and provided a way to leave comments (before shoutboxes here). So, other than using it to see what other people are listening to the best thing about it is the private message system... which allows for things that sputnik frowns on ;)

Funny you say that Rudy, as I was just listening to the new Kasabian album.
Although, I don't think they sound that alike tbh. Kasabian doesn't have anywhere near that amount of programmed music.

haha yeah i almost decided to go abroad to aussie-land next semester; that or new zealand, but i don't know. "the underdog" is my favorite off that CD, i love the guitar sound at the beginning. good driving tune
