That's true. I guess what it is, is that the albums I do look forward to, end up horrible. Like, Mandala. I wasn't looking forward to a new Rx Bandits, it was only convenient. Turned out it was amazing.

Mute Math, I loved their debut and looked forward to Armistice...and well, yeah.

Best albums of the year are bands I never cared about that much before.

Yeah I guess it's more disappointing from your perspective then.

I really like this. It might be their best. I'm not sure.

Pretty much entirely agree with the review, which is unfortunate for me

Why the negs? Fanboys, I tell you.

Excellent review, I agree this is very disappointing. Rating will probably go down later in the week.

I've listened to this only once, but I don't see myself liking this very much with time. We'll see I guess.

The three part symphony wasn't even that awesome.

It hurts my ears...the lack of guitar...the lack of anything interesting =(

Yah, it seems like Bellamy spent too much time producing and not enough time writing good guitar parts. Don't get me wrong, I like the production of this CD. I just wish the guitar didn't get shafted.

People are overreacting about the lack of guitar.

I don't think so. Not when that was a huge part of the reason why these people (whoever they may be) liked Muse in the first palce.

I don't see why people are complaining. They never said the album would b amazing, they said it would be big. And big it is, stop being butthurt.

When listening to songs like Plug In Baby or Thoughts of A Dying Atheist and then comparing to these songs...

It's just a different focus and I can dig it. I don't NEED awesome guitar riffs but if they were to focus more on...this type stuff then I wanted it to be more memorable or interesting, you know?
