white cell rules. every song on that album is basically perfect, the only mild weak point would be the closer, but that could be because it doesnt feel much like a closer. i feel like waiting for you or crossing over could have been in that spot.

I feel the same re. White Cell and 5ing tbh. Love the closer though, feels like a great Shit Gets Serious moment to end on, not sure Waiting For You would have packed the same punch there (and Crossing Over is such a nice segue track it'd have felt like a cop out at the end imo)

if you like ISIS but never jammed Neurosis, ford is probably right with his rec for first Neurosis album but honestly just start at Souls and move forward chronologically
