"Ever get writer's block?" Only when my heart's not in it & I just don't want to write. When I want to, it usually flows pretty smoothly... Especially if the intro paragraph comes naturally enough. My main problem is usually keeping my reviews down under 7 or 8 paragraphs, so it's probably the opposite of writers block.

Actually, their album tracks are quite interesting Jim. Interesting in that they are different from what you would expect. There is a very quirky nature to Kisschasy that doesn't fully come out in their singles. Of course, that doesn't mean you will like them, but they are "interesting".

Boring album is boring.
Last one was way better, they do 'catchy pop rock' so much better. Still, the singer's lyrics are damn good.

"Boring album is boring." Disagree with you Billy, although I could see why some would feel so after 1 or 2 listens. Apart from the lead single, there is nothing as immediate here as on their last album... But some of the tracks are real growers.



Having said that, I do feel they will return to the catchy pop rock on their next album. Of course, that may be dependant on how this LP sells.

Basically it, for me they're always a great band to chuck on if i'm after something real catchy. That's where 'Hymns....' succeeded i reckon, i'm not sure if they should have moved away from that. But i guess bands need to change and develop blah blah blah. Will listen to this again soon, see if i change opinions or something.
