Being a tenor, bass, or baritone doesn’t necessarily pertain to range (although there’s def correlation), it’s more where your passaggio is in your voice. Takes a lot of honing and practice but yeah you can extend your range to sing this high for sure if you work at it enough. My gut tells me that Johnny could just sing this high without falling into his head register from birth though lol

The notion of passagio kinda loses its meaning once you discover how to do mixed voice
then again, having that mixed voice sound full and rich when singing high instead of squeaky or distorted is the million dollar question haha
