@ KritikalMotion:

I can perfectly see how you would like Miss machine better, especially if it's the first album you've heard by them and you dig the "mellower" stuff like Unretrofied, Highway robbery and Phone home. However, give this album a few more spins and ask yourself why they felt the songs are all so different. You'll be amazed how varied they turn out to be.

I think they are both about equal. I like the progressive Dillinger of MM and the more intense side of Dillinger here. My favorite switches from CI and MM frequently.

I don't really see what's so much more "progressive" about MM. The only thing is some of the songs on it have longer soft sections. Both albums are still amazing none the less. This Message Edited On 10.02.07

More jazz oriented fills, some longer songs, different keyboards and sounds, different song structures, etc.

It's certainly progressive, I do support that they broaden out, but in my opinion not all of the songs can live up to the consistent quality of CI. I do like that album a lot, but I expect their next album to be better (which would only prove that MM was indeed progressive). This Message Edited On 10.02.07
