Of course, I know that. I can't explain properly what I mean by it, but as I review the entire discography, I like to rate only one album a 5. As I mentioned, just my policy. I give the full 5/5 to the band's best album just to make the difference clear.

Yes, I don't think we disagree somewhere. I get your policy, all I'm saying is that I would give two 5s for sad wings and painkiller and I would state that I prefer the first one. Just to make my review a little more objective.

That's just my opinion though!

I guess I could also do that, but the 4.5-5 comparison between the two is much clearer than pointing it out in the review. Oh well, it all doesn't matter. I also gave this a 4.5 since it is vastly overrated on here.

Guys he can rate stuff however he wants, there's nothing wrong with what he's doing.

I try to only give one album by a band a 5 too, but I've given two Death and Opeth albums 5s cause I can't choose which one I like most lol

Brilliant review man! I basically agree 100% The drums on this album really are a force to be reckoned with and really gave the band a fresh energy. I also agree with this while being amazing, not the bands best...

It's always great when people agree about 100%.

The only stuff that sucked were some albums in the 80's and 90's.

Their late 70's stuff too...ie. British Steel, Screaming for Vengence. I'll be honest, I can't stand singers who sound like they have their balls caught in a bear trap. If it wasn't for the awesome riffs on this album, I would have this at a 1/5 hahahaha.

British Steel and SFV are both 80's, if I may correct you.

Maybe I should check out their late 70s back-catalogue. Whatever the case is, I highly respect Rob Halford for making people rethink what they have to say about gay rights. His voice on the other hand....

This is the only Priest album I care for (that I've listened to, which is about 4). Everything else veers too much toward hard rock.
