Yeah I was actually surprised when Rob was covering a few classic Chimaira riffs in a video and he mentioned it was actually Matt DeVries who came up with this or that riff. Both dudes are super talented for sure.

Also apparently even the vocalist Mark, came up with the foundation of some of the key riffs from a few songs here and there.

@heck, Chimaira really aren’t a band anymore. Most years they just play 1 Christmas show per year in Cleveland. Although I think they did make a festival appearance or two in recent year as well. I just said RIP because I wish they were more active.

Yeah, actually when I was first getting back into guitar, his videos on setting up an audio interface with a DAW and the basics of putting together some quick songs were so perfect.
