Giving this another listen, still love it, though I have to agree The Last Kind Words was fucking epic, and slightly better than this. The Last Kind Words is perfectly inbetween 4 and 4.5 whereas this is closer to a 4 (I might give the former another listen and bump it to a 4.5).

absolutely love this album, but i do prefer The Last Kind Words, thats a 5 IMO. These are my favorite band, love the riffs, drums and the singing is unique

Still can't decide myself between PFV or TLKW but i'd still probably say TLKW personally. Still love everything they've done and they've got a new album coming out later this year WOOHOO! :-)

Personally i think this band uses more variety in an album as far as different sounds compared with a lot of other metal bands nowadays. I like the second half of this album (waiting for november on) more than the first half. I love every devildriver album I have! (self-titled is the only one i don't have)

Waiting for November is one of my favourite songs of 2009

Eh, I dunno. The groove metal aspects seem overused, and the vocals are plain irritating. Not to mention I still get that nu-metal vibe going on when listening to any of their albums.

Band can do anything, they so versatile and the more you listen to this the more you love it and see how much they have improved, for me this album is just epic.
