What's more valuable: money or sex with Alissa?

probably the latter

He had to 'relearn' how to play a 6-string again after playing on 7-strings for the last decade or so. He can do way better than Arch Enemy.
But as a whole, this was Nevermore at their peak imo. Neon Black is a great album but this is where their songwriting and ridiculous proficiency with their instruments met.

Lol arch enemy? He's above that

I know. Thing is, I'm not too hot on his solo stuff.
Jeff is an amazing player and all that but his solo stuff is just not my thing. Marty Friedman is where it's at for solo albums.

A Future Uncertain has grown on me really hard, ties with Final Product for my favourite here

It took me like 5 years to get into Nevermore through this record. I loved the music I just couldn't stand the vocals for the longest time. Now I can't even imagine this shit without Warrel Dane. Psalm Of Lydia is just face-melting.

Yeah, same. He was a fantastic singer.

I kinda always liked Warrel Dane although he definitely had his problems as a vocalist. He has some great moments here, esp Medicated Nation and Sell My Heart For Stones

Title track groves so fucking hard
|

don't forget Psalm of Lydia m/

One of the best prog metal albums of all time
|
| |
Dane is up there with my fav metal vocalists. Not many can make an operatic singing style work with a modern metal style.

enemies of reality is another good one. Listen to the remaster if possible, original mix sucked.
