Thanks Croc. What's been happening? I'm a bit disappointed you didn't carry on the Def Lep tradition in my absence, but I'm a forgiving man.
Now why did you go & YouTube 'Slang'? Actually, I don't think I've ever seen the video. And I'm happy for it to remain that way.

the video basically had a sugar coated grunge feel to it. I only watched about a minute and quickly left to put some better music on to get that foul image out of my head lol.

"Slang with me, I just wanna get my hands dirty... Slang with me, I just wanna get soaking wet". Oh good God, what were they thinking!?
GravyCannon huh? Sounds hilarious. There's something about 'Hybrid Theory' that always gets the blood boiling I reckon. Yet, "in the end, it doesn't really matter". :-)

my god the puns are back!
|
| |
exept it wasen't hilarious for a person like me who tried to help the poor bastard. I was so pissed/tired at the end of all it that I cant even describe it. I tell you Davey, even you would have exploded in the end for sure if you would have been in my shoes.
Oh and nice pun haha

he was a right knob. I think I gave up on him before the real war started.
|
| |
the war, that I must admit, he won, since nobody could out-argue that man
|

As your alter ego Davey, I say, welcome back!
|
| |
hey, there was one positive to the whole GravyCannon business....
....i got to create my "senile citizen" persona!!! :D look out for more of the "old timer" in future trollish/newbish reviews.

Oh yeah, you can bet your bottom dollar that the puns are back.
You guys are simply too impatient. It's that Estonian blood metalstyles. I would have calmed the young fella down with some Def Leppard reviews & he would have been putty in my hands. I will have to try & recall that alternate user-name of yours in the future Pedro...
... Just like everyone knows my alternate user-name; DOUGIE! Oh look, Dougie likes Emery. Now there's a coincidence because I like Emery too. (insert shocked look here)!

| |
Hey Champ Kind for your next trick review something good y/y
|
| |
oh, it's not an alternate account...it's just this mode i go to where i rant and rave about how it was better in the old times before all these punks started prancing about in their jeans with their rock music and their unsafe sex....

It depends what you mean by "good" DavID... If you mean an artist you like, then yes. I'm actually trying to write that review now, but am having trouble getting into gear (the review for 'Slang' was written 2 months ago). It seems that I'm a bit out of practice.
|
| |
uuh Davey, it definitely was not like that. Believe me I was calmer than you on your best days. i tried to help him and all that stuff, i gave him lots of constructive critisizm and advice and stuff but he just wouldn't listen. And seriously even you would have exploded, the guy was just such asshole. 20 pages of useless argument was enough for me, too much to handle. Even your Def Leppard reviews wouldn't have helped.
That was just too big of a task for a man to handle. O and btw, we Estonians are rather calm when compared to some southern nations, we don't get hot or bolied usually, but GravyCannon was too much to handle

Righteo Pedro. I look forward to more talk about unsafe sex & the like.
What do you mean my Def Leppard reviews wouldn't have helped the situation? That's blasphemy metalstyles. Me... Explode... Never. Well, unless I don't stop eating normal non-European hotel food, that is.
And your comment about being "rather calm when compared to some southern nations" reminded me of some funny stories from my vacation. Italians & Greeks are funny to watch when they are arguing.
Oh & don't forget Marko & his Croats! Hello there Mr. MassiveAttack. I hope all has been well. You will have to stay tuned for my best & worst lists of Europe to see if any of your Croatian cities impressed me or turned me off.

oooo exciting, exciting! Dubrovnik or Zagreb prolly is #1 so no need for the list lol =)

The tour unfortunately did not go to Zagreb, so the capital won't appear on any list. We spent 2 days in Dubrovnik, a full afternoon in Split & then a few hours & the night in Zadar.
|
| |
I never went to Zadar. I only spent a few hours in Split, which I didn't like much, but Dubrovnik and Zagreb were amazing.

To me, Split seems to have a bit of an identity crisis. It's trying to be too much at once; It's trying to be the country's leader of industry, it's trying to be the country's main port & it's also trying to attract the tourists. In attempting to find that mix, it sort of gets nothing totally right. But if cities can have potential, I think it does. The location of the city is good & the size is also about right. It just needs to figure out what it wants to be.
Zadar was nice enough. Small city & not a great deal to do there. It acted more as a night stop than anything else, but the center of town was pretty nice & (shock horror) there is water within a stone's throw from said center.
