I don't really see why Adam didn't produce it, that was a dumb decision. Basically if KSE doesn't come up with something on their next album they are gonna fade into nothingness i'm predicting.

the best way to predict a future behavior is the past, and for what i see, KSE isnt gonna progress anytime soon, so sad, i love TEOH sooo much

this is a good example of why change and progress aren't a good thing... if it ain't broke... don't bloody fix it.

This was a step back in all departments though, how did they not notice how bad this sucks.

I don't understand what people are talking about, this record is great, a huge step up from their previous record and almost on the same level as 'heartache'. Only weaker tracks on this record are 'starting over' and 'save me'. The rest is just catchy, great tunes!

This album sucks, its a bunch of songs using the exact same formula with cut and paste choruses that aren't even good.

It's the best/catchiest choruses they've ever done so once again, I don't know what you are talking about. Brendan O'Brian really helped Howard out on this record.
Killswitch have pretty much always had the same formula, It's their style. What's so surprisingly horrible about that? The verse/chorus/verse is still there but most of the songs sound completely different than their previous stuff. f.ex. 'The Return', 'Take Me Away', 'I Would Do Anything'.

I actually enjoy this a ton

I like this better than TEOH, but not as much as AOJB or ADD. I agree though, the choruses are the catchiest they've ever done. Best vocals and (traditional) songwriting on a KsE record ever.
I don't understand why this gets so much hate. The only thing I can think of is that people listen to it once (and probably not even all of each song) and decide it sucks. Because I'll admit, the first time through all these songs sounded the same and the record seemed bland, but after a few listens I realized how great this actually is.

The production's not as good as on past records, I agree. They should have kept Adam D at the helm. Still, this is an underrated record on Sputnik.
