My god, Vlad The Impaler has to be one of the lyrically worst songs I have ever heard. That one bit, "We need to raise the dead, we need to raise the peeheeple", is just rage inducing. Such a shame because the guitar riff itself is actually rather good.

I don't get the hate for such a fun album/band on the site. I know the average is okay but when you read most comments about the band on the site they are just brushed off as crap.

^ I think the answer for this is that Kasabian give off the vibe of being just an awful bunch of arrogant rock revivalists peddling crowd-pleasing trash. They are just very easy to hate. That explains the comments.
On the other hand, almost astoundingly, their music is quite hard to hate. It always goes above and beyond expectations, simultaneously instantly likeable yet quite unique. That explains the higher ratings than one would expect from the shit-talking they get

These guys aren't half as good as their attitude suggests - they've got some cracking singles to their credit though.

Right bunch of berks.
You either have it or you don’t and these clowns don’t but yeah they have done some good tunes. Club Foot is quality.
