nah i think this one has such a unique atmosphere and compared to empire/promised land it's very consistent bar that cover. it's also a bit more immediate than promised land and i think the slight gothy tinge makes it feel a little less glossy and glam-y than the later stuff

Neue Regel is a contender for their best song I think. It nails both the goth and the prog in a unique way that's arguably neither. And the drumming/synths that together sound like a machinery, with the cymbals being the steam whistles? Best album ever
