never really liked sonic youth as much as i should but i will still check this out because i like to stay current and hip!

^i'd suggest sister or rather ripped, then. IMO they're the easiest introductions to sonic youth

I have Daydream Nation, EVOL, and Washing Machine. I like EVOL and Washing Machine more than Daydream Nation.

yeah, to those who haven't heard this band before (possibly waior, cause you don't have a sy album rated) this is a good place to start, but they have better albums in the 80s that are completely necessary to listen to

already have Daydream k thnkss, but I've been wanting to check out Dinosaur Jr for a while, and I presume You're Living All Over Me is the best, right?

Daydream Nation isn't even the best.

honestly you guys got is all wrong. the best albums from front to back are a thousands leaves and murray street. i say this cuz i like catchy sonic youth better than psychi-sonic youth. but yeah i will have to pick this one up.



and for the record i like sonic youth when they make music over noise then just noise the whole track.



also confusion is sex sounds great when your pissed.

It's another Sonic Youth album. I'm not sure I could say anything more than that if I reviewed this.

you should probably listen to washing machine because that's like their third or fourth best album
