How does this compare to white light and children of god?

No, midsection on this record can get lacking (warm is the most boring track swans ever made) whereas White lights and children are perfect from start to finish, also this record balances between the lighter more beautiful side of White Lights and the Darker more perversed feel of Children of God, it's their most diversed and balanced record imo but as I already said the middle tends to bore me a bit

Midsection is amazing are you kidding me, Warm is one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever. Just very moody. If there's any slouch at all it'd be tracks 13 and 14

I find Warm to be simply cheesy and dull tbh.

Telepathy as a slouch?! No way! We'll just have to agree to disagree on this one but the first tracks are the best (apart from title track) She Lives and I am the Sun are my fav on the album and the lyrics on celebrity lifestyle are also killer.

Not saying it is a slouch, but if I had to choose a low point it'd be those two tracks. Warm is very christmasy and "la la la" sure but it just takes me to a beautiful place, one of the pockets of serenity dotted around this otherwise turbulent album.

My favourites are I Am The Sun, She Lives, Blood Promise, Mind/Body/Light/Sound, Warm, Killing For Company, the title track and Out... so yeah half the album

Is that Bill Hicks, Christopher Hitchens or David Duchovny in your avatar? If it's any of those three then kudos

Thoughts so, pop art Bill looks quite a lot like the other two though. Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks, aka the greatest tv show ever made

The very same, it's a very bizarre creepy show as you might expect but also has an incredibly intriguing plot, sweet characters and lots of humour
