"Where My Mouth Is" is the only song I really care for here.

Hmm ok, this is where I feel them faltering slightly. I’ve only given it two listens so far though (hence no rating yet), and their first three albums grew on me quite a bit. So that could very well happen here. I dunno, too many songs feel forgettable. A lot of cringey lyrics tbh. I think Where My Mouth Is is one of the best songs here, but I cringe every time he says “I put my money where my mouth is”, lol. Ugh. Great song though aside from that.
Everything Must Go is the clear highlight, holy shit. I would say their best closer so far (and I love I’ll Let You Live and Slowdance on the Inside, head club is pretty damn good too, just a little anti-climactic as a closer).
Also like the title track and Carpathia. Swing Into Me is pretty good also.

Was also reading that Lazzarra does NOT like this album and they basically never many tracks off of it. A shame, it’s certainly still pretty good at first glance. Prob has something to do with his headspace at the time since his addiction issues really took hold during the writing and recording if this album, from what I can gather. I bet EMG is too painful to play it something, definitely seems very personal.
