If you have anything to say about this album that is negative there are a bunch of ways to describe you. You are a boring, lame fuck, un stylish, non dancing, insecure douchebag! This album is fun and there is nothing wrong with fun.

This review reads like the author has listened to the album in one sitting, which perhaps wouldn't be a bad thing, but he's apparently had his preconceptions present throughout. I've only been a Motley fan for a few years, but I keep going back to this album, and the author's comments remind me of what I might have thought during a first listen.
Personally, I love the glam factor in this album (Nikki's Sweet and Kiss influences clearly coming through) but they seem to deliver it with an energy that makes glam rock seem tame.
But, maybe it's about taste. I completely identify with the manic aspect of glam, mixed in with the nihilism of metal, I think it makes for a beautifully decadent album, and I think that's what the Crue did best, almost as an art form. Even if it's down to whether or not you share their attitude for this kind of music/expression, I think this must be a 'good' album.

I still have a massive soft spot some of the crue's albums.
This album started all the glam rock and if anything this has more of a punk edge, they really did not give a fuck.

wasp is good but none of their albums compare to shout at the devil

W.A.S.P.'s debut is better than Shout at the Devil actually.
I actually prefer this to Shout at the Devil as well.
