and it sure as hell beats Chimaira as far as “pure ***ing metal” goes.
Why even compare?
For starters, I think you completely miss the concept of this record altogether. I would try and do a little bit on what they were going for in terms of lyrics.

a bit hit and miss..."Under a darkened sky", "Poison Fog", "Beyond Enemy Lines" and "Passiondale" are really good. "No Survivors" has a nice clean vocal section (the rest of it is boring/repetitive) and the outro is quite good. The other 3 tracks + intro really do nothing for me.
