Classic album. The shift from grind to death metal couldn't have gone better. The songwriting is terrific and consistent throughout. It's easily the best death metal release by the band.
Killer guitar work, in your face drumming by Mick, and solid vocals. Some complain about the Morrisound production, but it's fitting for the album's darker tone.
Highlights are Vision Conquest, If The Truth Be Known, and Suffer The Children. Extremity Retained is another sick track where the grind roots are still present.
Suffer The Children's breakdown is simple yet effective. Beastly riff, a Tom G warrior OOGHHH, fuzzy bass, and sweet cymbal use. Take a hint deathcore posers.
Mick's drumming is brilliant. The snare kills.
