Never really got into Green Day all that much. I think I bought American Idiot when it came out, but that's about it.
I pretty much just listened to pop radio when I was younger until I got a couple of various artists albums that got me more into the stuff like Thrice and Rise Against. My music taste didn't change much after that until I got on Sputnik.

Yeah later on when I actually developed somewhat of my own taste I got into stuff on FUSE and Too Much Music, stuff like Rise Against, Linkin Park, The Used, TBS, Breaking Benjamin and whatever alt rock stuff that was on the radio. Also throw in a classic rock and a grunge phase in there
