I guess I could see someone studying to the ambient interludes, but not during the metal parts.

I've studied to this quite often actually, but I can study to just about any kind of metal. Even though its really heavy at times, when studying I tend do drain out the gutwrenching screams and focus on the guitar harmonies.

Also, you people are fools, this album is 10x better than two hunters!

Ahrimanic Trance is one of their best songs, I think. Something about how it's shaped together, the transitions, the ambience, it's near perfect for them. I like all their albums a lot though, perhaps for slightly different reasons.

So is this album basically closer to traditional black metal in sound? I found that Two Hunters had long gaps with no vocals, how does this album compare?
