I'm a huge post-rock fan but I've never gotten into this band. Can't really see what the fuss is about...

Can't wait to listen to this, I've come to the conclusion that the japanese make the best post rock.

I need to listen to this more. This one is good and beautiful, but I don't think it comes close to touching You Are There just yet for me.

Pretty good album so far, might bump this up to a 4.5. My favorite song so far has to be The Battle to Heaven

Good review dude, I agree. They kind of just do the same thing every album but they improve on it every time. I think this is their best by far and I'm a pretty big fan of You Are There and Walking Cloud. I'm really hoping for another Australian tour this year or next.

Totally listening to Burial at Sea right now and it's pretty amazing. pg.lost came out of nowhere last year for me to take the #2 spot on best of 08. Can't wait to hear all of this to determine if this is the best of 09 so far.

You Are There has been my favourite album for years, although it could've been that way if it was nothing but the 15 minutes of Yearning.

I'm not sure if this is my new favourite or not though, Ashes is probably their best song but You Are There worked better overall if you listen to it from start to finish. I love all the new songs on their own, but You Are There is like one long journey from sunrise to sunset, and there aren't many other albums I could sit and listen all the way through like I can with that one.

That's not really a criticism though, infact the only thing I dislike is that the climax in The Battle to Heaven comes nowhere near close to when it's played live (which I've now heard twice on two tours, and the album isn't even out here in the UK until tomorrow), but I suppose a CD can only be so loud.

I really want this. May order from Amazon pretty soon. I went through a huge phase with You Are There, haven't listened in a long time though
