actually I take it back...I think I'd give this a 3.5 or a 4 because now that I've given it a chance I'm starting to like it quite a bit more...I was prolly just not in the mood when I first listened to it.

Listened to the whole thing once. I generally liked it. Not sure what rating I'd dub it with yet.

i've bought jeans at HT but I hate the store cause it is spawning ground for faggots wearing eyeliner, twilight shirts, black hair in their eyes, and fags fanning devil horns on stage bouncing around playing shitty mainstream screamo thinking they are hip. so many scummy (formerly ghetto) kids at my school walk in and reemerge zombie fags. I want to work there so I can play the National all day and not dress like i swallowed a faggot grenade.
"To Catch A Tiger" is awwwesome.

I saw some p. sick oldschool hardcore shirts at HT, albeit it was just big names like Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Gorilla Biscuits, and Minor Threat
also it promotes gay shit like that. people wearing pink floyd shirts or dead kennedys shirts when they don't even listen to them, or listening to them and promoting them only cause their shirt is in hot topic. go to shows you fagholes.
Honestly whole thing is not a real issue to me because I take pride in just being infinitely cooler then everyone else.

I'm always careful with buying jeans from HT, as they are only an accessory. Their main product is band tees, jewelry, and hardcore lingerie for the ladies. All that bullshit with Twilight was a weird hiccup to me. Somehow Twilight merchandise is still featured at the front of the store, but it will soon be in the clearance racks with all the Nightmare before Christmas junk. That being said, those are the only two movies I can think of that Hot Topic could profit from, assuming that Tim Burton comes out with another gay movie. Maybe Trey Parker and Matt Stone had it right: if you get rid of the source, all the Count Fagula's will disappear.
I then however would have no where to buy shirts for bands I actually enjoy listening to.
Back to the main topic though! I have given this album a few listens, and I find it hard to imagine that I will listen to these songs ever again next week.

Severe absence of Justin for quite a while and when I asked Jase about it last night after the show he sort of made a lemon face and was subsequently drug off by some guy who I think was Our Last Night's drummer...

Is this band mathcore?

Yes and no. They have a lot of mathy aspects but they draw from so many other genres you can't really just pin them as mathcore.

mathcore is a new one to me.
