i didnt really like the first track at all, the second one was better but i just wasn't enjoying any of it. the crux of my statement was that i consider autopsy a better and more innovative early death metal band

From what I've heard off this, it's tough as balls and I need to find this quickly.

Of course it is, that's why Autopsy are much more well known than Infester. This is Infester's only album. I don't think I ever claimed they were better than Autopsy, and although they are similar somewhat in grouping, they don't really sound alike so simply saying that this isn't good because it's not as good as Autopsy is redundant.

Ummmm Autopsy kind of sucks tbh. I never found the appeal in Mental Funeral and that album with someone eating poo on the front cover.

Obviously the appeal came from eating poo.

I wasn't trying to say that they had similar sounds. Really, the only reason I mentioned Autopsy in particular was that I was listening to them at the moment. I'm going to give this another listen, a thorough one.

But yeah with that said I still think Autopsy is one of the greatest death metal bands of all time. The production, the muddy riffs, the doomy sections - I seriously think there's not a single thing I dislike about Mental Funeral.

Okay fair enough, but I don't think you liking Mental Funeral a lot is a sufficient reason to not like this. Not that you have to like it, but what you said earlier seemed to imply that you would just listen to Autopsy in the stead of Infester, as if they were the exact same thing.

I'm not saying that at all. If I implied that, it was my mistake...I meant that I would prefer to listen to an album that I know and love than one I didn't like that much.

Yeah I listened to a few songs on youtube and this guy is the most evil sounding vocalist I've ever heard.

Agreed. I don't see how I missed this review. I must have left my realm of solitude for a Publix road trip.
