Liked it when I was 17-18. It's okay now for party music but I don't listen to it much.

I've had friends who despise anything that isn't "metal enough" ask me for copies of this album.

Its a classic 5-star deserving release if there ever was one.

this dumb asses gaslightanthem and McDiggitz surely have no xperience playing any instrument, and if so they may have not enough cuz saying that this is a four chord band, lame music and bad singing is just so naive, yeah now this guys will come and claim theyve played guitar or drums nearly since they born just to prove wrong my point, but is clear to me they dont, hahaa 4 chord band, not even nirvana was like that and they sound even more simple than TBS and Nirvana is far superior sure, but both bands play more than 4 chords, now come on, calling this fagot music you just love to mess around with peoples taste, thinking you know better, saying youre diggin fugazi just to show u know far more than many people here, but u never seen them live, come on kid go back to your crib, now what is clear here, beside this two guys lame opinions on music, is that this was the best record TBS will ever make since was the original line up and lets face it they are not gonna be lucky finding that chemistry anywhere that easy. This Message Edited On 02.03.09

@scyther - no, they don't determine them. Not to mention, your attempts at sarcasm, wit, and humor, fail on many levels.

But, it does go to show how solid of an album it is where certain types of people will actually acknowledge the fact that there was something going on with these recordings that isn't auditorily evident on in most other releases of this genre.

Simple as that.

It looks that way, doesn't it.
I'm not really even bothered with TBS, I heard Louder Now and that's really all I needed as far as this band goes.
It was good for about two weeks, now it just reeks of dull

Am I the only one that thinks Brand New's "Your Favorite Weapon" is better than this album?
"Yep"
"Who said that"
Everybody.
"Ok. Move along, nothing to see here".
Nah seriously, 'Cute Without The E' is pure genius & I think 3-4 other songs are pretty good also, but I struggle to hear this album out.
