This album should be at least a 4. Cattle Decap finally made an album that was different from the rest of their discography. The vocals are top notch as always and the songs have some pretty catchy riffs and shifts in tempo and other stuff they've not done before.



More importantly this album just doesn't get stale. I guess the average rating is because the band was already so underrated in the first place for making almost the same album over and over again.



As for grindcore and deathgrind, I say this album is genre-defining. Not many would accept that statement just for the fact that this band was always considered average.



Give it one or two more listens.

Damn good album, just a tad repetitive. Halfway through the album, you sometimes lose sense of where you are exactly, mainly due to the chaotic drums and constant speed of the guitars.

That said, these guys have greatly increased songwriting, and a few songs on here are classic. I'd recommend "Regret & the Grave".

i was very surprised with the harvest floor, i had karma bloody karma, but i didnt like it too much, but the harvest floor is a step up from k.b.k, travis ryan has some evil fucking vocals.
