The writers here are, for the most part, VERY, very good. Don't reject their criticism just because you disagree with them.
One thing about writing about an extremely well-respected album like this one is that the bar is automatically raised very high. Your review isn't bad. But it's not good, either. You stoop to childish insults far too often (one or two is okay, lol) and don't really go into depth about the technical problems with the band.
I'm going to go ahead and agree with Thor and guess that you probably don't like the genre as a whole very much, as the things you dislike about this album are sort of trademarks.

This is clearly power metal, the only difference between this and your typical power metal band is that this has harsh vocals. It's laughable if you actually think that this is some sort of fusion of genres.

On metal archives it says epic melodic death metal. I can't agree with the death metal bit but it's certainly epic! In fact, I'd say it's more melodic black metal than melo death. Especially the vocal style.
