I like how with the Samplers coming back and being more prominent the bass on this album kicks so much ass. They really haven't had bass this noticeable since Spirit.

This album is delicious. Two things irk me about it though, neither enough to really lower my opinion of it at all. 1. I wish they had some of the screaming like in "For Reverend Green" and "Grass". 2. My truck's speakers suck at playing it well.

i love the second movement in daily routine the more droney panda bear wailing thing, reminscent of their older material and it gives it a cool vibe

fuck the hate for in the flowers too, I think the first track on their last four lps have been always absolutely awesome album openers ("Leaf House" is so good) and In The Flowers is just an awesome way to start

the are you also frightened part? yeah its so awesome, i love the album title and reasoning behind naming it mpp because I actually had an amazing experience this summer seeing tv on the radio there tripping fucking face on acid, incredibly surreal. and then i hear that the album is going to be named that and its not a joke i was like wut? haha the reason i love strawberry jam so ridiculously much is because i listened to extensively at the end of 2007 over winter break and i tripped the first time. man i do too much acid

This is how I'd imagine an Acid/LSD party involving this album would look like

i mean panda bear wears that influence on his sleeve, especially with person pitch, but this is so cool because its not traditional pop music like pet sounds was

Lewis said this to me one day

Person :: Pet

Pitch :: Sounds

I agreed 100% percent with that logic and the intentions
