melodic black/deathcore

and yes I did pull that off of MA because I agree with it.

I mean...melodic black metal (lulz) and deathcore (major lulz) are two terrible genres so you put them together and out shits Abigail Williams. Makes sense to me.This Message Edited On 01.12.09

I actually had hopes this would be good, that they would grow a little bit.

Fortunately, The Funeral Pyre dropped the crappy symphonics and A.W impersonation and went down a more pure metal route.

Nothing -core about this album at all. Their first ep had some deathcore influences, but not this.

The genre's themselves are generally bad, but there's good stuff in there too. Atrefact, Elite, Transcending Bizarre? for melo-black, Animosity, Glass Casket for deathcore.

And anyway, where is the deathcore here?

Whatever everyone says, this has an overall rating of 3.6 which is really quite good especially considering the number of negative comments that have been posted.

btw AngelPhoenix...great to see you mention Artefact - they're great!!!

yea well for example nickelback has won a grammy(s?) so the opinion of the general public is really a shitty representation of the quality of a band. case in point, this album has a rating higher than "2"
