thanks mate. I've been digging it recently too, and thought it was a good idea to link it with more recent political happenings. I had a bit of a writer's block as well, and this was the 'something different' which broke the ice.

This is not only my favorite Floyd album, but one of my favorite albums ever!
But sometimes the lyrics confuse me, isn't Dogs about the lower class, and Sheep about the middle class? Pigs is obviously about the higher class

Def. the best review of this I've read. This is the next Pink Floyd I'll be picking up. I've been making a slow progression through their works for about a year, and I'm really looking forward to hearing this now.

I never bothered looking into this album mainly cause it seems to appeal more to lyric kind of people, and I'm not really analyzing lyrics when it comes to music. But your review just changed that! Whether or not I'll like it as much as DSotM,WYWH or The Wall, this review just made me order this without second thought.
