Act Appalled, with In Fear and Faith slightly behind at #2. Need to listen to this album more though.

I like this band, but I dont like how this album sounds like an extended version of Juturna .

They seem to rely solely on Green

Good review, you touched on a lot of spots I thought the album was missing as well. I agree that "Your
Friends Are Gone" was the best song, and one of my favorite as well; those last two minutes are jaw
dropping. While I feel that Anthony Green stretches his limits with his singing, arraying unbelievable
talent through his voice, the instrumentals could be worked on a little. The drummer is simple, but it
seems as if it works quite well with the simplified instrumentals. But from a bit of a demo I heard
of Circa Survive's new album, I believe the instrumentals will be improved many times over.

I really don't get the Anthony Green fanboy party...

All I see out of Circa Survive is average.

I have to agree with the review this album is really good and very popular within their scene but this album does not really have change ups or much else other then their "Indie" sound. Anthony Green in my opinion is better off in circa survive rather then in Saosin because Green fits Circa Survive better than Saosin, well at least in my opinion.

I think Green fits Circa better as well. Saosin, imo, was a lot more fast-paced and cluttered. The chill environment that Circa Survive gives you seems to fit his vocal stylings and lyrical patterns. I also think that the melodies in this album are quite tasteful and well placed. Although I can agree that the mood of the album doesn't change that often. But I think they are gonna definitely improve on their next effort.
