and he said that most of the light poppy stuff went on this and the rest would probably end up on 4:14 so IT COULD ACTUALLY BE LIKE THAT OMG

I genuinely don't think it can be stated enough times what a fucking incredible piece of music it is though

If I listen to it once I have listen to it probably ten further times

Agreed hard with ya, Row. They perfected the atmosphere on it to the point where it's completely

dream like. It cries out to be discovered more with each listen. Emotional and beautiful. Ahh,

classic.

A haunting 4:14 release would be so awesome but I'm starting to think it will never see the light

of day. Robert doesn't want to butthurt the rest of the band so it's just going to sit there like

Deftone's Eros.

It just like starts off with the perfect aural representation of waves lightly breaking and it's so relaxing and therapeutic and then it's like a storm comes and the waves start getting heavier and heavier and then it gets to the EVERYTHING IS GONE part and omg I die

I'm never giving up on it just gonna keep hanging out for it and one day it'll be around and it'll be glorious

it's such a shame that they decided to follow up one of their best songs ever with one of their worst because Jesus the Only One is pure shite

That's the problem with this album. The songs go all over the fucking place. Most of the songs I enjoy to from a decent to great degree and then there are some where I can't make it more than 5 seconds.

so a few sites are reporting from supposed "insider sources" that the band wrapped production on a new album a few months back and intend to release it this spring to coincide with their North American tour. I'm hopeful, but I'll believe it when I see it, especially after being let down so many times before. Robert has been promising the release of new material for nearly 8 years now, most recently in 2014 and that never panned out.

blah, boring, mediocre, average at best attempt...sorry, The Cure are my favorite band, but it's been forever since they've released anything worthwhile.

Haven't heard this one.

Rib, I can't see how you've put Wish up there as one of their best albums!?

Also, Three Imaginary Boys is severely underrated.

I was at that New Orleans show

hearing them play The Crow song actually made me revisit it, I think I'd maybe heard that song once before, via a full listen of Join the Dots

and as far as this album, I passed on it for a while because of how turned off I was by Freakshow, but really it's pretty solid, even if I'm still not completely familiar with it like I am the one before it

at least a handful of awesome tracks on here though
