its really NOT that bad. its just that TAOM is loads better... still listening to this to give it a rating... shaping up to be like a 3.5 or 4 so far actually.

Ouch, that's too bad. I've yet to hear it though.

I read something about Marion starting singing, and there doesn't seem to be any screaming present in Doesn't Listen to People... Has he dropped them alltogether? Not that they were anything impressive but...

no theres still some screaming on this album. its not that much, but its still an element that they use. and its quite well executed.

Just got my preorder, and I'm relistening to it all. It feels different than the first listen, for some reason. I like it alot more the second time around, I think.

The only thing that's really turning me off is the spoken word stuff. The guy speaking this really has a strange/unique voice.

yeah well I'm ignoring the lyrics every time I listen to it, however the vocals in Treesome is becoming bothersome when he gets all raspy-ish.

I personally think that this is one of the greatest albums I have ever heard. Every song on this album is better than most of my favorite songs, and when you listen to the whole album front to back you feel like you have gone on a journey. I would personally give it a 4.5

This cover looks like something Relient K would have used five years ago. Random thought Chan, you should probably merge some of your reviews (mainly on new Anberlin) to this name. Twas weird clicking on that and seeing votes.

yeah, i agree

probably has something to do with their new name in the vein of a new beginning... bands do that too often though. use one symbol as if it's incredibly impacting instead of being borderline cliche

edit:

finally read the review chan, a little disappointed i guess.

how did you not mention get your life together? This Message Edited On 10.28.08
