Did you listen to it? The album uses a lot of very subtle and very slow progression, not loops.



That being said, a 20 minute song isn't for everyone, or every mood. You don't blast this in your car as you cruise down the highway on a happy sunny day.



This music is beautiful and sad... I don't think everyone is capable of finding the emotional window to access music like this.

Yes I've listened to it... it's actually built around loops with subtle progression if we're being pedantic, if I wanted truly beautiful and sad music I'll go listen to Gorecki or Godspeed (BUT WAIT THEY HAVE 20 MINUTE SONGS TOO) instead of this, which is mostly tedious minor chord masturbation

This is easily a 5 on first listen. I cried so intensely and cathartically. It is absolutely beautiful and soul-wrenching. Why is this not more popular?

I love Godspeed, but yes, this is phenomenal. It reminds me a lot of the score from Aronofsky's "The Fountain." It's so beautiful.
