I know the sound quality isn't the greatest, but this might be my favorite Neurosis live video of all time. I first got into this band because of the music. But I became a diehard fan because of their live intensity. I had heard rumblings of what a great live band Neurosis was and the cool visuals, etc. But I was completely taken aback by the intensity of the band when I finally saw them live. Scott Kelly, in particular.
This live performance of Through Silver in Blood kind of sums it up. Just pure anger and ferocity. Multiple Scott Kelly mic headbutts at 5:35, 8:47 and 9:07. And then drumstick abuse at 13:17.
