that one’s fine too actually. Yknow honestly I’ll shit on them (deservedly) but there’s about one good albums worth of songs between Hardwired and 72 Seasons. They really gotta knock it off with these long ass double albums, so fkn unnecessary
I guess that was a compliment.

Thing is, all the songs on that good album would come from Hardwired

the first half of hardwired too lol
but tbf that stuff is really good!

I still stand by the opinion that Lux Æterna, Screaming Suicide, If Darkness Had a Son and Inamorata are good, nice riffs all around and I feel that last one has sort of a Load tinge to it.

Yes, first half plus SOTB and that's it for me. Fun little record

Yes, Inamorata is pretty great

Inamorata is definitely one of the best off that album. Love the Sabbath vibes during the slower riffs (same goes for You Must Burn as well)

Man I still feel like Spit Out the Bone is still then best song they’ve made… probably since Justice imo. Most of this record is pretty fire but man, had that song landed here I’d have even more praise for it. I almost wish the production was as brickwalled as this album so I could make a little playlist with it as the closer without it feeling horrifically out of place.
That’s something I’ll give the two newer records, by and large they’re far less interesting and explosive than this album but at least the production isn’t complete ass.

Metallica is usually alright and fun when they play fast and aggressive.
